Good to see ya Mike. Take care brother!
Thx for the update Mike...👍 Keep well my brother 🙏🤠
Good to see you up and kicking, love the content of inside cabs of CSX trains.. Always loved watching you, never get the chance to get inside of one.. but as always, love the content.. Amazing video!
Until I hit retirement, I'll watch this and keep dreaming.
Nice view! Definitely panfish beds
It would drive me crazy to be blowen that horn and bells all the time, typical yanks, in Australia our drivers don’t carry on like the yanks. Massive overreaction
Gosh Mike hope retirement is well. Them days was right about the time R/R started all this new PTC stuff and stilll had train masters and road Forman now it’s all brand new stuff master of train operations. And no privacy period at least back in this time you could get by with little more They hire ya then set out to hide in the bushes to try to fire ya I never understood that and fire ya in tail terms pretty much means time off with out pay for how ever long after a board hearing. You wasn’t fired fired it was pretty hard to get fired for good. They never could make up there minds you could get off moving equipment then you couldn’t now it’s back to you can again. Had a engineer that was fired for lying and past stop signal when he was left in B the conductor run the train a few seconds by time he caught it and dispatcher started hollering he said he had stopped lied about it then shoved back in the blind switch had been moved by the dispatcher for Amtrak he cased 4 cars to derail lost the coal and tied up Amtrak but they said he was fired he was offf 5 years and when I was taking training in Atlanta he showed up for a few weeks to run the simulator then he was back in to running again
I want to be a Locomotive Engineer when get older what’s it like Mr Barnett
power house
Why cab signal is read? Here where I live (post USSR countries) it is a great trouble to see this while running.
hello sir, can you guide me how can i enter into this locomotive conductor field?
is that 7fdl8 engine? i think is nope
May I have the name of song?
I know your father is so proud of you
nice man i plan to work for csx
what exactly were you driving
Hey man, I am hopefully going to work for CSX when I am older. Awesome video man!
💪🏾💪🏾🖤🖤🔥🔥🔥
Easy look like fun
I also used my own horn with you for the crossings, courtesy of the Whistle Sim app.
So do u miss d life
istanbul'dan seyrettim, güzel video , n scale csx lokomotiflerimin gerceği çok heybetli
Hey Mr Barnett coming back to say I got accepted by CSX in Tampa FL for a conductor position happy retirement
I am a kid but I just love trains And one thing I know you're trying to teach us how to be a trained engineer to the c s x
My favorite locomotive and it is a csx
Thank you for the great video let's regular people have a perspective they normally would not have.
Have u ever encountered theft while stopped at a depot or at a track stops
the horn is insane and what a AWESOME VIDEO !
All I have to say is thanks for sharing these Mike enjoy your retirement
He's a good train operator like the videos
Thanks for the video. Great job! I'm a retired trucker But I always wanted to work on the railroad I took the test when they came to Michigan but I didn't finish in time. I had all of the questions right but I was a little sport on finishing the test.
Hey What fire department were u at? I was a fireman for 12 years in Columbus ga AT STATION 4
I have 1 question do the blinking ditch lights turn off on there own or do you have to turn them off by a button
Ditch lights are usually activated by blowing the horn or engaging the engine bell, and then remain on for a period of time. Some roads have flashing ditch lights, while others have them on steady.
Nice!! Hope ur retirement is doing ok
That's a MEAN sounding horn! That roaring GEVO-12 sounds amazing, too!
I plan on driving just like you I think it would be an experience
How to become train conductor or train engineer in Canada???any reference
Want to try driving a model locomotive on my Layout? You can operate via a camera inside see my live stream. Instructions are in the description
3:27 I hope you told them off! lol
AWESOME footage! Love watching an engineer in action
hey what happend to that wild music you had on this vid some time ago rock on buddy
Music ID?
Great video. Beautiful sound. I don't know if anybody else has said it in the comments. But personally, I think this rule of sounding the horn at all. Grade crossings should super seed. Any local ordinance for no train sound at all? I think it's very stupid to silence the trains. Safety wise accidents would go down if the train sounded the horn. All the time anybody that doesn't like the sound move away. The trains were there before you.

It was allegedly Brad's electrical company that wired up the new house on Gun Club. I knew about his job because of renting that house from him. He's got the garage full of tools and the appearance, but all I had to go from was what they told me themselves. I've never actually seen Brad do the work. Coincidentally, I'm the one who lost my mind at the wiring job that Doug's former coworker from Elk Creek Technology Partners did for the new house low voltage wiring. Of course, I was comparing it to the work that Dave Nelms out of Monument Colorado did for us, because he did the wiring for the new USAV building when we moved it from Circle Dr (Frank's Farm) to the one on Sinton Road, right next to the dairy of the same name. "All my Milkshakes..." Something something something. :P
Do you be going on the tracks through Houston?
